Watches NEWS
I want to buy an AP too, can you help?
I am in the market for a nice watch for a budget of 15~17k (Canadian) which would be around 12-14k USD, which sucks because few months ago it wasn't so different.Anyways, I found out about Royal Oaks and fell in love with them, there are two ppl in Toronto selling them on a classified site. Not sure which one to buy, can you help?I was hoping to buy 44mm model, but i think both are 42mm.both look very hot, and i am going to take them to authorized dealer for authentication (its possible right?)1. .kijiji.ca/v-jewelry-watch...ationFlag=true$14k USD2. .kijiji.ca/v-jewelry-watch...ationFlag=true$14.8k USDplease advise me!thank you
Is the Omega Planet too thick?
Is the Omega Planet Ocean 42MM 8500 too thick for everyday wear. Picture on the wrist would be nice.
8500 Aqua Terra Reviews
Given the reasonable price point of the 8500 Aqua Terra I keep coming back to consider it. The highly reflective hour indicators catch my eye, which may be a result of the 100 overhead lights at the AD. Since this will be my first mechanical I enjoy having the exhibition caseback. From what I can tell the 8500 is a movement I can be proud to show off. I'd like to buy the watch on a bracelet and then switch it to a deployment leather band to start out. My AD says that is a better approach economically. 23113422106001-20.JPGcaseback.jpgI'd love to hear other owners thoughts on this time piece. I'm targeting the dark grey face with SS case. thanks in advance
Trade Advice needed for 16700
Hi Friends,I have been gushing over a Pepsi 16700 for years now and now one has surfaced with all the trimmings (B&P). I am considering a trade for my 1991 16600 T dial with B&P + $4,000 cash, pricing the 16700 at $10,500. Do you think this is a fair trade? I personally think the GMT's prices have hit a ceiling at the 10K handle, but who knows in our world. Cheers
Charlotte, NC AD Recommendations
Working on purchasing my first. For those in the area, do you recommend Windsor, Fink's, another grey market or used dealer? Do you get them out of Spartanburg, SC and have them shipped to save cost?
