Orient Mako USA Review
When it comes to affordable automatic watches, few brands offer the same bang-for-your-buck value as Orient. Like Seiko's more affordable automatics, Orient watches are often touted by the collecting community as a great way to get your feet wet with automatics before spending a larger chunk of change on pricier mechanical timepieces. That said, Orient watches are great in their own right, and their MSRP (or rather, their street price) often belies the true value of these great timekeepers. What do you tell your friends
So I wore the 5167 out on the town on Friday night for some drinks and dancing with friends. In doing so, I created some interesting dance moves to keep people from banging into my watch lol. But anyways, one of my friends was noticing my attire and asked what kinda shirt/pants/shoes I was wearing...then he noticed the watch and asked what kind of watch it was. After I mentioned it was a Patek, having no idea what it was, he asked... and how much was it? My question is, do you guys tell people how much your watches really cost, or do you tell a little white lie to keep from alienating them? I hate getting the statements like why would you buy something like that? or if I had that money I would....blah blah blahIm pretty sure Im not the only one who has to deal with this...so what do you guys do?
