Vulcain Watches At L'Heure Asch In Geneva
One of my favorite under represented Swiss watch brands is Vulcain. I have written about them before, for example here when I discussed how the brand gives one of their watches to each new US president (specifically it was for Obama). That watch happened to be Vulcain's new Anniversary Heart watch which is pictured here. Isn't it nice?Vulcain watches are really rare. I believe there are some authorized dealers in the US, but I haven't been to any of them. I got to check out these watches at L'Heure Asch in Geneva. Denis Asch, the proprietor of the shop is probably the most respected independent watch dealer in Geneva. He has pretty good taste, and Vulcain is among the select brands that he carries. Actually, I found that Geneva isn't really a hot-spot for independent or smaller brands. The city is dominated by brands from mostly the Swatch Group, Richemont Group, and select high-end brands (like Audemars Piguet or Patek Philippe). My first time
Hi everyone, after much thought and many trips to the AP store I finally decided on purchasing the Royal Oak 15450 with the white face! Since this is my first AP ever I am curious to what discount I can expect from an AD? Omega Lost & Stolen?
Hi,Does anyone know if Omega operates a lost and stolen database like Rolex do? This question primarily relates to the UK, I'm not sure a worldwide database exists in any case?I've just had DHL deliver a ��2K watch to the wrong address and they have tried twice to retrieve it and the person has refused to open the door and is not picking up any calls (she is one of their clients as she sent a package with them weeks earlier). DHL have just washed their hands off this and told me to claim - even if I'm paid without any nonsense, the insurance claim does not cover the loss as the maximum liability was below the watch's value. TBH, I'm quite amazed with the ease with which DHL have given up on this package and asked me to claim (I sent this via Interparcel) with my agent, thus literally enabling theft. I am planning to pursue this with local police, but just wanted to query if Omega had a stolen database so I could alert them and also ask you to avoid sending your valuables by DHL, especia
