Speedy 3570.50 - Am I missing something?
I know this is the Rolex forum, but wanted to get an opinion from Rolex owners regarding this watch. I'm familiar with the history and clearly its a classic design. It's one of the best watches I've seen on a leather strap or a NATO. I tried one on recently and it really didn't sing to me like how it does when I see it in photos. It could have been the Omega bracelet, which I'm not a fan of or maybe because I started off with Rolex I'm a bit bias. What's the opinion from owners, how does this guy work in your collection?
22mm for 44mm co axial speedy?
So to my knowledge, the 44.25mm coaxial speedy requires a 21 strap, correct?I can't find anything that isn't made my omega in that size. I love these. But which size would fit my speedy if either correctly? There is a 20mm and 22mm .. any opinions are appreciated!shop.hodinkee/collections...cordovan-strap
Hacking the 324 movement. Will this hurt the watch?
A random video popped up while I was on YouTube and the guy showed a way to hack the seconds hand on his Aquanaut 5167. Just thought it was interesting more than anything else since have seen so many haters complain about the lack of this feature. I'm not very knowledgeable at all when it comes to watch mechanics so honestly have no idea if this is harmful, common knowledge, or unique to this movement. Anyway thought I would share for any opinions about this hacking work around. https://m.youtube/watch?v=ZvbpMg1Zlzg
Replace my 112 with 510 or 392
I lost my 112 and fancy replacing with something similar but different. I have a 6.75 wrist and got on fine with the 112. I'm tempted by the 392 but hear they are unduly thick and don't wear quite so flat. I'm in New Zealand and can't try as we have only one AD with limited stock so will import via Jomashop.Thoughts?
Rolex Sub C ND or Omega Seamaster 300 60th Anniversary
Hi, I would like to get your opinion on these two great timepieces. I felt that both are almost similar - no date, black bezel, iconic diving watch, from reputable brands with lots of history. If you were to choose one, what would it be and why?I know this is a Rolex forum. And thank you for giving me your thought on these two watches. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
