1990s Eterna Two-Tone 200m Diver Watch Available
It is only recently that Eterna has returned to the US market. For a long time, the lauded watch maker just sort of ignored US shores with its branded products. That isn't true with the watches that it makes for Porsche Design though. In 2008, Eterna returned to the US market with a couple of beautiful KonTiki line watches, and I can't wait to get one myself. You should be aware that for years, Eterna has been offering really good watches in Europe, with very few trickling over into the States. The pictured watch is a good example. I am not certain what the watch is called, but it is a thorough two-tone Eterna diving watch. The "Eterna-matic" moniker refers to the fact that it has an automatic mechanical movement as most every Eterna watch does. Inside this watch is the very competent ETA 2892-2 movement with a gold plated (maybe solid gold) rotor. The crown is also signed and done in gold.Click below to keep reading Best MatchItems Ending FirstNewly-Listed Items FirstPrice + Shipping:
AP royal oak dual time problem
Hi There,I have just bought a used AP royal oak dual time. Model year is 2009. The problem is even though when i self wind the watch or use it during the day, the power reserve indicator does not go up all the way. It goes up to the last section but stays in the middle of this section. So overall i would stay the power reserve indicator goes up to %80-%85 but not %100.Anyone knows if this is normal for this model or something is wrong? For the new ones, the power reserve indicator goes up all the way but maybe for this model it is usual.ThanksKen
Which one to go for?
Hi guys,I want to buy RO chronograph but im really confused whether to go with the available black dial or to wait longer for the blue dial. BTW, this is my first AP. What do you think guys?
Anyone have wrist shots of GMT II and 39mm or 41mm ROC side by side
I really like the ROC panda but find the size of 40mm GMTII to be the min for me. The new ROC's 41mm may be the answer but there is no panda option. I would have to go with the black face to get the size I want. Perhaps a member who owns both can provide wrist shots to compare?TIA
Something to behold, the Patek Minute Repeater + Tourbillon + Perpetual Calendar
I was fortunate to check out the recent auction pieces for the Upcoming Sothebys auction, so many unbelievable watches. Particularly all the minute repeaters, and to have an opportunity to try out so many different one from different brands was quite educational and exciting. As you may have guessed, the Patek was by far the best of the bunch. To have a chance to to hold, and examine a Patek 5016, Minute repeater, Tourbillon and Perpetual Calendar was unreal. Here a few pics of some that stood out (not all, sorry I don't take more pics), I was really impressed by the Girard Perregaux Minute repeater, gorgeous watch with an amazing sound, loved the dial, and the regulator was very quiet, a pet peeve of mine that really annoyed me how loud the regulator was on the Audemars Piguet and RGM.
