Royal Oak for 40th?
Hello folksWriting in from India. I have the big 40th coming up and I've been looking at something special to mark the occasion. I have the opportunity of purchasing a new Royal Oak ref 15400 ST from an AD in India and was wondering if a white dial would be more versatile than the grey/ black dial one? The AD has the watch wrapped in cling film so it's hard for me to appreciate the true beauty of the White dial. Is the white suitable for both casual and formal occasions as opposed to the grey/ black?I'm getting a 20% discount from the AD in Delhi, which brings the price of the Royal Oak to about US$ 15,500. Is that a good deal?How does the AP hold up to daily wear. I believe it's quite a scratch magnet and while most of my time is spent at the desk, I'm worried about picking up scuffs on the bracelet. Went in leather came out Rubber!
Well I bought the rubber strap for my 41mm Rose Gold Chrono a few months ago and Finally decided to put it on. Thanks to Brian Lau he also taught me a trick about the way you put the straps on. Instead of doing it the traditional way where the clasp is facing you I swapped it so the clasp is facing away and wears a million times more comfortable! Wish I had known this earlier and would have swapped it a long time ago. Enjoy the pics.

Guys!! I have been owning a 5960/1a for some time and doesn't get to wear it much as the shiny bracelet couldn't go more stealthy. I came across with this pic showing this sport strap and love it. Try to find it online but couldn't, much appreciated if you guys can point me to the right direction so I can wear the 5960 more!!Thanks!

This ok?... dial more patina then hands EXP2 16750
Watch has rsc dallas paperwork from 2012. Exp2 1675 with an N serial number, 1991 model with T<25 tritium dial. Is this normal for the patina on dial to be alittle darker then the hands? The seller and rsc paperwork say hands werent changed. Asking fellow trf gurus for any info on this. Thanks. Rsc paperwork shows $1100 total service. Seller asking low $4k? Good deal?

I got my SS Daytona C in a white dial in November and have worn it exactly 3 times ,going through this forum posts and seeing the SS Skydweller I am tempted to do a trade for a BNIB SS sky dweller blue Do you gentlemen think it's a good move ? I am on the waitlist for the SD ... and can afford to keep both ... but getting impatient
