Girard-Perregaux ww.tc Cabinet de Curiosits Limited Edition Watch
Did you really like (and want) the special piece unique watch that Girard-Perregaux had auctioned at the 2011 Only Watch Auction? If so (and you weren't that one person to get it), then you sort of have another chance. Aside from the smoked sapphire crystal dial, this limited edition of just five pieces Girard-Perregaux ww.tc Cabinet de Curiosits watch has the same cool style with the white ceramic and titanium case. In-Depth: Le Garde Temps C Naissance D'Une Montre, Greubel Forsey's Mission To Protect Tradi
What would happen if traditional watchmaking techniques died out? For Stephen Forsey and Robert Greubel, this thought was anathema. Their namesake company, Gruebel Forsey, relies on these very techniques to produce timepieces that have become lore among modern collectors. If these techniques die out, then their future, and the future of other high-end independents dies out too. One watchmaker was selected to be the recipient of what is arguably the finest collective of horological knowledge in existence, endowing him with the skills needed to create a watch, by hand, completely from scratch. 2 OF 6 Stephen Forsey, one half of the duo behind Greubel Forsey, describes the importance of safeguarding traditional watchmaking skills: Earlier this year, I had the chance to speak with Stephen Forsey a

Hi All, New hear in terms of posts but been reading for some time. Great forum to pass some time learning about other peoples passions and desiresI need some help and assistance. Recently purchased a very nice AP Panda on a steel bracelet. I would like the option of a Rubber / leather daily beater strap. Thought I would just take my time see what comes up on flea bay and assemble a complete strap over time.. So starts the Quiz.Pictures are of links purchased for Royal Oak Offshore. The steel bracelet is Genuine AP. What do you feel the links are for because they do not fit well? They will fit in the cut out in the watch case and width is spot on but end angles are not the same (last pic) and they have no movement when installed. They can be fitted but don't look or feel right compared to the OE.The angle of the link top to bottom appears to be too steep. Not advertised as genuine so could even be from a replica piece of s*ite, as the finish o the sides of the links is poor quality!Any
