Watch Quiz: Can You Identify These Dive Watches Under Dress Shirt Cuffs?
Some say that dive watches and dress shirts are a fashion faux pas. We disagree. We've squeezed eight dive watches under a dress shirt cuff, leaving just a bit exposed. Put your watchspotting skills to the test and see if you can identify them. The answers appear at the end of page 2. Good luck!
NEW Diver landed this weekend
First I want to take the time to thank everyone here for the warm wishes and all the pics they posted of their Divers. Everyone has been great in answering questions and welcoming me to the AP section of the forum. So thank you to all.I ended up purchasing my Diver from Mosco (Greg). He has been a great friend of mine over the last several years and it was nice to be able to give him some of my limited business. I dont purchase a large amount of watches so when i do if i can buy one from a buddy that makes it better for me. Obviously there are several great TRF dealers here that could have taken care of me and some even offered (Davidson for one). But I just had to get it from Greg. I hate to drive it in the ground but he was outstanding to deal with. (for those of you who have not dealt with him) If you NEED a diver, contact Mosco cause i think he has a few incoming if not just laying around. Thanks again and here is ONE crappy iphone pic. but ill post more in the future.
On the fence...
Hi all,I have been thinking about getting an AP rubberclad for quite some time now. Today , I had the opportunity to try one on, and i wasnt that impressed. Over the last few month i have been marveling at photos and wrist shots, day dreaming of the moment i owned a ROO rubber. I dont really know what is was that turned me off . maybe it was the feel of the rubber strap that felt more like plastic to me . maybe it was the fact that i have been wearing a DSSD everyday now for a couple of months, and in comparison the rubberclad felt like a swatch on my wrist. i dont really know where this post is going so maybe you can guide me somehow. should i abandone my pursuit of an AP and turn my attention to another rolex ( I Probably shouldnt of have posted on an AP forum)? Opinions ? Any other AP references in my price range that might tickle my fancy?Below is a wrist shot. What do you guys think?Sorry for the crappy phone pics, its all i had at that moment.
Not Sure About This Electric Blue
Hi all, I have seen an Electric Blue for sale with loads of photos. Seller says it was purchased from Singapore in 2002, seller says the watch has only been worn twice and has sat in a drawer for eight years and from the photos I could believe this. However, what is causing me concern is the serial number as there is just something about it raising a question mark in my head: Photo of serial number: Brian
