In-Depth: Introducing The Jaeger-LeCoultre Geophysic 1958 (Live Photos, Full Specs, Official Pricing & Availability)
I get a lot of joy out of writing about new releases, but only those that I think are really well done. Frankly, it’s not often I can say that a brand new watch is offering you ( / me / us) a whole lot, but today, with this new Jaeger-LeCoultre, I can it say it and mean it. You’re looking at the new JLC Geophysic 1958 family. This 38.5mm watch will be available in stainless steel, rose gold, and platinum (all in limited numbers), features a heaping dose of vintage inspiration, and offers a lot of technology we want in a cutting edge piece of modern horology. Allow me to go into great detail on this one, because I think it’s worth it. The History of the (Original) JLC Geophysic 2 OF 42 Originally created back in 1958, the Geophysic celebrated two distinct events. You're Invited: A Special Preview Of 'The Luxury Of Time: European Clocks And Watches' E
It gives us great pleasure to say that we are able to offer, courtesy of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, a limited number of invitations to an upcoming exhibition showcasing some of the most unusual, valuable, and remarkably beautiful timepieces ever made. "The Luxury of Time: European Clocks and Watches" preview will be held at The Metropolitan Museum of Art this Thursday, November 19th at 6:30 p.m. There will be a host of amazing, very rare and extremely historically important clocks and watches on hand, and the exhibition is being co-curated by the Met's Mrs. Clare Vincent, a 40-year veteran of the Met, and Associate Research Curator Ms. Elizabeth Sullivan. These are just a few examples of the treasures from the Metropolitan Museum of Art's collection. Above is a stunning clockwork celestial globe, made in Vienna in around 1579; like many of the clocks and watches in the exhibition this was a gift from J. Pierpont Morgan (in this case the gift was given in 1917).

My first patek; and the journey that led me here.
I just realized i never did a proper incoming, please i hope you dont mind a long post.Story:It's been 3 years since i had an incoming last one was a watch my dad gave me and the first one was the Rolex submariner 114060.I was always happy with my rolex sub, i found my watch zen i said, then i read more about watches and had the guts to visit a patek boutique 2 years ago. i was so amazed at the quality of watches they offer. i read and read and appreciated the brand more. i said maybe if i focus on the goal of having a PP watch and not get distracted its possible. It was not easy but, Along the way i decided to buy my first patek and trying to avoid any impulse buy along the way was hard but i made it. had to save but at the same time prepare for my families future. was not born in a wealthy family and i had to work hard to be in my situation at present.I became a dad and my son is more than a year old now and he has taught me to be a better person, to be patient and loving, to not
