Vintage omega seamaster chrono
Hey guys, Came across a beautiful cushion case seamaster from the 70s at my local vintage dealer. Was wondering if you guys thought $1200 was a fair price for it. Dial has been refinished but seems as though they did a great job and it has a 861 movement. Some watches are timeless: unaware of popular trends and unaffected by the passage of time. This is one of those watches.Ref. 3970, many times overshadowed by its cousins 2499 and 5970, is arguably Patek's quintessential perpetual calendar chronograph. Earlier this week I was fortunate to acquire a dream watch a 3970 (second series - the connoisseurs PCC some may say) in unworn condition. Many thanks to good friends M, J, G and other members here.
