Hamilton Khaki Field Automatic For 2009: Return Of A Classic, Again
If there was ever a watch that defined a brand it is the Khaki line for Hamilton. They have actually imparted the "Khaki" name on scores of watches, but the Field Khaki is the basic original military watch that started the trend. A popular watch for decades the original models were tiny by today's comparisons often being 33mm wide. Those are smaller than most women's watches today. The New Hamilton Khaki Field Automatic will be available in two (reasonable) sizes at 40mm and 44mm wide. I would love to wear the 44mm wide version in this classic style. The watches also get a lot of upgrades. These include the sapphire crystals, applied hour markers and Swiss automatic ETA 2824-2 movements. This first line has a gun metal colored black PVD steel case - but I have a feeling that future models will adopt the original sandblasted steel look of the original models. This is by no means the only time that Hamilton has "re-released" The Khaki watch, but I particularly like this iteration and how
The weight of the new 2014 42mm all gold 18KPG Offshore
Tried on the new 42mm all gold 18kpg offshore today... It is VERY heavy and just by memory and just by feel I do say it is heavier than my Rolex DDII!! I am kidding p, it is seriously heavy!! For those who like heavy watches, this is it! How can this be? .... The AP feels intensely heavy and dense. This is in the Singapore AP boutique. This particular watch I tried on is NOT for sale since a it is a demo only. They do start taking order for a new one delivery shouldn't be too long if anyone interested. Forgotten about the retail price, but my best price is less than SGD80k (around USD63k)... Good luck and happy hunting! jen
Case height - 422 and 510
Hello all,Can anyone tell me the case height for these two pieces? I would love a 422, but feel that the 47mm case would look too big on me - unless the case is not too tall! Maybe this is just wishful thinking on my part, buy oh well. The 510 is also a strong contender, with similar looks at 44mm. The 8 day pr is also very sweet. Info on this case height would be much appreciated as well. Many thanks!
Rolex recommendation
Hi,this is my first thread here. I plan to buy my first Rolex this year, but Im not sure what type. Im not yet so common with the market. Maybe some of the experienced fans and collectors here can give me some useful ideas. My ideas and wishes so far:1)new watch (=not used)2)able to keep the value or at least not to loose much (I have found some opinions, that f.e. the new Cellinis will only destroy money)I like the new Cellini Moonphase, but I dont know, if it can keep the price, or a completely different watch, the expensive Daydate. This is a classic model, but probably it will be always a traditional Rolex with a nice value.Any ideas for me?Thanks!Peter

Hey guys. This answer may have been given before. But I just picked up a 2 month old 114060. It has the previous owners name on the card.If I need to send it in for any issues, will I have a problem since my name isn't on the card?Appreciate your responsesThanksAndre Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
