Speedmaster question
I am fairly new to the forum and even newer to Omega watches. Other than going to an AD and trying on different Speedmasters, what do the Omega experts here think is a good first time Speedmaster to get? Ben.
Omega Price increase
Just spoke to my AD and Omega, Breitling are going up 01/02/09.Some are going up by around 8.5% and others by around 11% but he said the average across the board is 10%He also said he wouldn't be able to do anything price wise regarding a discount once the increase kicks in which is a blow. Especially as he has a watch I want at the moment and would only give me 10% which wasn't good enough. It will have to wait.Anybody getting more than 10% from their AD's?Si

send watch to panerai for service or local?
So I'm in Chicago and wanted to get my Pam 392 serviced, there is a slight scuff on the bezel and the tiniest of chips on the crystal. Its been running just a tad slow since I got it and I just picked up another watch so figured I would get this serviced so its perfect. Question is should I send to Panerai? I heard they are pretty pricey and could take awhile. Or have a local watchmaker take a look (if I go this route he won't replace the crystal, would need to send it to panerai to get a authentic panerai crystal is what one guy said) also any recommendations for someone in Chicago to work on it?I'm thinking of selling it too so want it nice if I decide to go that route, is it even worth refinishing or selling as is? I'm the original owner and have the box and all paperwork so it should make it easier.
Tudor Ranger metal strap fit a Black Bay?
Hi, I have recently purchased a Tudor Heritage Black Bay burgundy and wasn't a fan of the metal strap it came with, mainly because of the ��rivet' bracelet.I really likely the metal strap on the Tudor Ranger and was wondering if this would fit on my BB? The watches, I believe, are both 41mm.I can ask my AD but have always found the folks on this forum to be incredibly knowledgable. Thanks in advanceSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
