HourTime Show Watch Podcast Episode 91
It took a little while for us to do the first show of 2012, but soon enough we will be back on schedule. Next week I leave for Geneva and will be gone a bit (but still posting of course). In this show we discuss Biver's stepping down at Hublot CEO, new Pilot watches from IWC. We also talk about the Android powered Wimm watch and reviewing the Ochs und Junior Selene Tinta watch.Listen to the HourTime Show watch podcast episode 91 here. Download the MP3.
Gentlemen, show me your scratches!!
So, I've just picked up a 15400 blue to keep my PP 5711 company and I absolutely love the watch - the design, the weight, the clasp, and the stunning blue dial. Now, I'm not feint of heart, I wear my every Rolex I own with PCLs without fear of scratches (they happen to add character IMHO), but with the new RO I want to wear it as freely, but do fear scratches (more so than with the PCL Rolex lines) as the flat planes/edges of the watch are simply stunning. In order to help me get over this silly fear of scratches, can you kindly post pics of your well-worn 15400's, 15300's, esteemed 15202's, and chronos to assuage my concerns.I happen to come from the NO POLISH at any cost school of thought so your pictures will be most appreciated. Thanks in advance - very happy to have joined the club!!
Omega Speedmaster Broad Arrow 35512000
I am seriously considering an Omega Speedmaster Broad Arrow ref35512000. This watch is new old stock, and about 3 years old . The movement is the Piguet, modified for Omega.I saw a few reviews where there were complaints about misalignment of the second hand.I am thinking you guys are the Omega aficionados, so what's the deal....buy or pass?
Something old... Something borrowed
Wish I could marry these.A visit to Beyer in Zurich. Some amazing pieces restored to mint, with guarantee, most from their first owners who bought them from/through Beyer. A lot of their vintage stuff never gets featured on their website or put on display so it was a privilege that they brought all these wonderful pieces out. Here to share for your viewing pleasurePic courtesy of a friend (big thanks! You know who you are)
Super Jubilee for a BLNR
Just picked up a super jubilee from DavidSW for my BLNR.I know this is the wrong time to ask, but I haven't opened the Rolex package and want to ask the experts if this one will work. It's marked B20-63200A-20-E1?
