Ball Watch Engineer Master II Diver GMT; Faithful Diving Watch Utilizes Impressive Technology
Ball Watch Company is quickly becoming a perennial favorite of mine for their utilitarian designs and reasonable prices. Ball watches exhibit frequent feats of useful technology or features, but the Engineer Master II Diver GMT really hits a home run. It will be formally unveiled at Basel World 2008, but the key aspects to its anticipated success are its high legibility, use of tritium gas tubes, and DLC (Diamond-like coating) covered case. The design itself continues to be refined, and here reaches a new level of legibility. The GMT hand is well-noticeable, but diminutive enough not to overshadow the main elements of the watch. This is one of the first times I have seen such a well done, yet readable GMT complication. Of course, as in all Ball watches, Tritium gas tube radiate brightly at night for 25 years. The tubes contain a safe radioactive compound that produces a glow without the need of light absorption. Inside the face is a rotating bezel operated by an external crown. This all

My new Gunny strap just arrived
Just received my new honey Gunny strap. (Peter is a super nice guy)I wish I would have brought the screw driver to work ,,, see if I would not have listened to your comments and bought the 632 (instead of the 005) with springbars ,,, ... i chould have changed the strap in the office with a paperclip.what do you think - so far i can say it looks nice and is very soft ... reminds me my wotancraft 74the strap on the watch is a wojtecki strap, which i bought in 2004 or 2005.
Got to try this
So went in to AD to pick up the green tag that I forgot at the store the other day.The hulk and SD43 was gone!So I inquired about SS Daytona, out of curiosity. Specially I got so many PMs. The manager gave some good info and after sometime he said he has one in the safe. I was really excited and he comes out with a white dial SS Daytona. Really nice time piece, I liked the white and black combination. But its not for me.He said they usually don't even show it to customers. They show it to selected few and sell to even fewer ones!! I could get it, but I love my TT more.He said 95% of the times its the hype for the watch that results in huge demand. Everyone wants to buy and flip it. Very few people actually want it for what it is. To avoid flipping, they sell to selected few customers. Interesting AD, and interesting stories!Sent from my ONEPLUS A5000 using Tapatalk
