Breitling Redesigns its Colt Military Watch Collection
The Breitling Colt collection introduced in the 1980s and intended, as were its predecessors, the Breitling Navitimer and Breitling Chronomat, as military watches has been revamped this year. The new Breitling Colt watches include models for men and ladies, with both quartz and automatic movements, including a quartz chronograph.Colt was born in the 1980s and initially intended for the armed forces C like other Breitling watches such as the Navitimer and the Chronomat C before winning over a broad audience through its sturdiness, its reliability and its readability. The broad unidirectional rotating bezel with a satin-brushed finish and engraved hour-markers is adorned with four rider tabs C a Breitling signature feature C ensuring excellent handling as well as enhanced protection of the sapph
168.1502 or 2551.80.00?
Hi guys, I'm confused about the model number of my Omega Seamaster. On the paperwork from the seller lists 2551.80.00 but I'm having it serviced and the jeweller has given me the reference 168.1502, which I presume is what's stamped on the case. What's the difference?

New member requesting assistance identifying vintage Omega
Hello TRF!I've been browsing the forum for several months and have finally mustered the courage for my first post.... Wanted to try to make the first one worthy of the forum. Please, let me preface that this is NOT a is it real/how much is it worth post, nor a veiled attempt to sell the watch, etc. This is meant as an honest attempt to obtain some information on the watch and break the ice with the fine folks on the forum. A little background on the watch:I've searched online and taken this watch to several ADs over the years to try to have it identified, but without success. So, I'd like to appeal to the experts here for assistance in determining what Model of Omega this is and an approximate age on it. Even the insurance appraisal from my AD is curiously vague regarding model information. The watch was my late uncle's. In the 1980's he gave it to me and said he bought it in the late 50's or early 60's. He was in the advanced stages of battling cancer and could not remember a lot
ETA black bay vs In-house
I was just wondering the other day what makes the ETA black bay in black so sought after. Is it that it looks very similar to a vintage black bay with its smiley text and all? More serviceable? More proven/ tried and true? Maybe it's that people hate the purely ornamental rivets on the new bracelet? Im just curious and I think these cover most of the reasons but maybe there are some ETA BB owners out there that have more to addSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
