Watches NEWS
Real or Not ???
I'm in a client based sales industry and a couple of my co-workers are familiar with my 'hobby' / addiction. As I was sitting at the office today, one of them walks up with a client and says Hey now that's a watch you should check out! pointing to time piece on the other's wrist. The wearer proceeds to proudly stick his wrist in my face and says How much would you pay for this ?? At this point I notice the following,:- 44 novelty gold case with ceramic bezel and ceramic flat pushers- WHITE tapisserie dial similar to the 44 steel BUT with gold finished baton markers ?!?!?- No sapphire see through back- H series case number on the rear at the 6 o'clock position of the case- 10/100 engraved on the rear at the 12 o'clock position- I engaged the chrono a couple of times and it just did not feel rightI have had numerous 44 novelty pieces and currently own the 44Ti (which I do not wear to the office) and while looking familiar there were just too many things about this piece that were VERY

2018 Sub case change and impact on current SubC prices
The 14060 was made from 1990 - 2012 and the 16610 from 1987 - 2010, a 22 year and 23 year run respectively. If the case changes this year on the 114060 and 116610 then we're looking at a 6 year and 8 year run respectively on the current ceramics. As an owner of a 114060, I can't help but speculate as to what would happen if my watch is discontinued after a relatively short run of 6 years. I hope it will at least hold it's value, but am I wrong in thinking the watch becomes a rarity in modern Sub terms? Or does everyone try and dump their SubCs for the new model, lowering prices?Obviously this is all hypothetical speculation, and we are probably looking at a movement change if anything this year, but it does make me
Global Watch Shop in London
Hi guys. I am based in London and recently located a Rolex watch from the Golbal Watch Shop who has a shop near Chancery Lane. Being first time Rolex buyer and never used a grey dealer before, I am worried about the authenticity and warranty of the watch. Wondering if any london users heard this shop or used it before? Trustpilot has all 5 star reviews by 200+ reviewers. The dealer told me the warranty card is stamped and dated by the AD where it was sourced. If I buy this watch, will the warranty follow the watch so I will be covered?Thank you all
