Royal Oak Jumbo Chrono Tourbillion
Guys,This watch is my #1 dream watch. It is absolutely stunning, with its large size and beautiful strap. This would be a no brainer buy for me, however the hefty MSRP puts it so far outside of my budget that I can't justify the cost.I spoke to a couple traders in London who said they sell for around ?75,000 (120,000 USD) almost new (1 year old). This got me thinking. If they are indicating a price of ?75k, then I think the watch can possibly be had for significantly less than their indicative price. From my limited experience, these traders tend to ask for quite high prices, so if they are starting at ?75k then I can't help but think there is still more room to negotiate. What do you guys think this watch could be had for via a grey dealer new or lightly used? I checked chrono24 and the prices were far too high. Before eliminating this as a potential option, I wanted to ask you guys. Thanks

Today was a good day...
Today was a good day dear TRF friends. I've had my eyes on this one for quite some time. Finally pulled the trigger. Ordered it a few months ago and then the wait began.... I guess it's part of the charm. I wanted to do this purchase the old fashion way from my local AD brand new sealed ordered for me. They were fantastic. Today I got the call and it was indeed a very, very good day. Cheers. George
What a special week...
last year was my 50th Birthday and I didn't really feel like celebrating... Didn't get myself anything. When I read about the SD43 it really got me interested, since I was born in 1967 and can't afford the $400K+ for 1967 single SD redliner, I decided that the SD43 would be a great watch to celebrate my 50th as well. I was also very interested in the SD4K, first because I once owned a sub 116610LN but never got used to the maxi case, it was uncomfortable on my wrist, the SD however retained more of it's original form, which I found more comfortable... I never bought one though... However the fact that it was made for such a short time is making it even more special and renewed my interest... So for my 51st, I decided to get both, It is like having the last remnant of an era, 40mm no cyclops, and the first one of the SD new design. I am proud to own both, two very special watches indeed. And I can't wait to take them with me diving : )The SD43 was purchased at my AD, the SD4K from my f
Anyone receiving James Cameron deep sea?
So with the new year we've seen lots of LVCs, BLNR, skydwellers, Daytona's and SD43 but I haven't seen any JC incomings!!Am I missing something? Is it really that hated? Or is it true it's being discontinued?I love that watch way more than the SD43 and have been trying to get my hands on one after I passed on one a couple of months ago
