Introducing the Oris Carl Brashear Limited Edition
The Oris Divers Sixty-Five was one of our favorite watches of last year. Many across the watch world fell in love with its unabashed old-school mentality with modern-day quality, myself included. It's a piece that seems to be destined for collectible status in the future. Now, for 2016, Oris appears to have made an instant classic even more impressive with the stunning Oris Carl Brashear Limited Edition. This isn't Oris' first foray into releasing special editions based on important historical figures, as we've previously covered their John Coltrane Limited Edition, but continues that piece's trend of relatively simple yet breathtaking design. It's also based on another worthy individual in Carl Brashear, the first African-American Master Diver in the U.S. Navy, as well as its first amputee diver. Brashear was a pioneer not just against racial prejudice, but in recovery from disability, and was the inspiration for the 2000 film "Men of Honor" starring Cuba Gooding Jr.The case design her
Omega Planet Ocean 9300 Chronograph POC on a Hirsch Viscount Strap with Hirsch Pusher
After some deliberation on whether to opt for a Genuine Omega strap buckle combo or an aftermarket one, I opted for the Hirsch Viscount Alligator Real Leather with 100m water resistance Strap combined with a Hirsch Pusher Buckle. What an elegant combination that is. For such an expensive aftermarket strap, the buckle was a must i.e. it was necessary to get a deployment one as it saves the ole strap from some stretching taking it off and putting back on the watch (could have been an Omega one at 5 times the price and may consider one in the future). I am truly happy with the result. Your input (positive or negative) shall be appreciated.
AD Allocation and delivery times
Hello all, I just wanted to check if anyone has any information regarding when should ADs expect to get allocations from PP. I've spoken to several AD's and they are expecting to get some info by the end of January. If so, when should we expect deliveries or hopefully start recieving calls from ADs . Thank you all for your input.
Is this a valid Datejust combination?
Hi there,I'm a newbite and hoping those with experience can help me verify what is and is not a valid Datejust combination.I am looking for a Datejust, 31mm, Steel and White Gold, Fluted, Roman, with a SILVER DIAL.I've been presented this configuration as an option at an AD and have seen it for sale online, but I can't build it as a configuration on rolex; I only see a RHODIUM dial as an option. Can anybody clarify why I'm seeing this discrepancy?Thank you!
Site hack going on?
I have received two emails this morning from two different TRF'ers, both say no message. No PM's received. Is something weird going on?
