Hi,I live in Israel, there's no patek lab over here ( the only option its to send the piece to Swiss), what do you think for replacing gasket, may I do it with my watchmaker, or to send it to the official lab?Thanks for your thoughts EmanuelP.sThe watch was services at official lab in the last 5 years.I'm talking only about replacing gaskets for water resistance.

Why did you buy your first Rolex?
I've heard many reasons mentioned by people, for some it's simply to show off, whilst some others wear a Rolex that was given to them by a relative or friend, and others got theirs to mark a special occasion, so on and so forth.For me it was because I turned my career/future prospects around in a big way, last year, at the age of 30; I got a job that 8000 people had applied for and in the process I more than doubled my salary from my previous career. It was a completely new field for me so once I successfully passed my training I wanted to mark the occasion with something to always remind me of my hard work & study, and to always keep going and aim for the next target. What better way than a Rolex? It's something that I would never have been able to afford if I didn't get up off my a$$ and turn things around, I was working a crappy job for rubbish pay (well below the national average here in the UK), was always feeling down and had no future prospects.But why a Rolex you may ask? W
