RO Chrono - silver/white or blue - SS
I'm having a bit of a crisis, hoping for some advice.I posted previously about wanting to buy a ROC in the UK. I went round all the stockists in London this week and there no SS versions in stock anywhere. I was also told getting hold of a blue one is 'impossible' as they are boutique only and there is no boutique in the UK. Obviously this is via the AD route. I found a BNIB silver/white version for a good price (considering the price rise that has just occurred) from another source (a physical shop where I tried it on) and have paid a deposit, intending to complete the purchases tomorrow.I have been looking online this morning though and keep thinking I should hold out for a blue one, even though I haven't seen one in the metal. I've looked on Chrono24 and there are a couple of blue ones in Europe which I believe means I don't have to pay any customs charges. New incoming to the collection.....

Why they call it Tudor fifty-eight?
Since the bezel is 39mm, does anyone know why they call it Black Bay fifty-eight and not Black Bay Thirty-Nine? Just like Black Bay 32mm bezel is call Black Bay 32, so to make things simple, why don't they name Black Bay 39mm bezel according to the size? Just curious
In honor my late father, my new Rolex
I'm not usually one who refers to certain Rolex watches by nicknames such as Hulk and Batman. But I now have a new piece in my collection that will proudly refer to as Kermit.I don't know why I didn't pursue one of these watches previously. I very much liked them but didn't see myself owning one. But after meeting a gentleman on a cruise ship recently who was wearing one and having a conversation about it and then also perusing the many photos on this forum and elsewhere for months, I decided I had to have one to join my GMT BLNR, Daytona Ceramic and SubC Date. So yesterday it arrived and I love it. I've had other Rolex watches come and go also, but this one shall not leave. So why does it honor my late father? Well, you see my father's name was Kermit. In fact, my middle name is also Kermit. So yes, this is definitely a watch I should own. It's an unusual name, yes, but a very personal name for me - not just a green muppets character. And when I wear it I will always think of
