Darker Knights: Roger Dubuis Presents Its Latest Excalibur Knights of the Round Table Edition
Manufacture Roger Dubuis has brought out a new version of the medieval masterpiece that marries perfectly with its flagship Excalibur collection: the Excalibur Knights of the Round Table.? The first?interpretation, unveiled in 2013 (and which we covered here), the designers of the Geneva-based manufacture presented a 28-piece limited edition in rose gold with 12 knights made of gold, seated around an enamel-and-decal reproduction of the Tudor-green-and-cream-painted English Oak Round Table made for King Henry VIII and placed in the Grand Hall of his castle at?Winchester. For 2015, the stunning new 28-piece Excalibur Knights of the Round Table II takes this historically fueled model from a princely, Camelot-themed aesthetic to a darker,?Gothic, more bad-ass one sort of the horological equivalent of Game of Thrones’s Iron Throne. The Roger Dubuis Excalibur Knights of the Round Table II features 12 meticulously sculpted miniature bronze knights positioned around a precious black ja

Pic request. AP 15300,400,450 with Rolex
Hey guys. Considering picking up one of these beauties with white dial. I'm unsure of how they size given their shape. Can anyone that has one take a comparison picture with their Rolex ?I currently wear a RG daytona, GV, GMT2c and 16613 bluesy. They're all fine on my wrist just don't want anything much bigger then any of those. I'm wondering which of the 3 I should shoot for 37-39 or 41. I'll go see the AD this week to try on the 15400 and 15450 but he doesn't have the discontinued 39mm for me to try and I have a feeling that's the one I'll need. Thanks in advance.
Planet Ocean GMT Platinum
I was at the OMEGA Boutique in South Coast Plaza and saw this:First time I ever heard of the PO GMT Platinum. Platinum case with platinum deployant clasp..omegawatches/press/pr...se-detail/2512Anyway, I thought it was pretty interesting. $95K USD.
OT: Omega Speedmaster...
Would love to ask the Rolex community here what your thoughts are on the Omega Speedmaster Pro...I've done a bit of research, lurked in the omega forums, etc. I was looking at the: 311.30 until I found a writeup someone wrote with some pretty negative comments about the 3313 co-axial movement. I guess the other two options (excluding all the limited edition variants) are:3570.50 - hesalite3573.50 - sapphireBut as someone who's new to Omegas, I would love to hear your thoughts / impressions / experiences with any of the above models. I'm posting it here because - if the folks here give it a thumbs up, I'm pretty sure I'll be happy with the watch. That's how much I trust everyone's opinion. :-)Thanks!p.s. obligatory pic attached.
