Bell & Ross Unveils BR 01 Skull Bronze Tourbillon for Only Watch 2015
For its contribution to this year’s upcoming Only Watch auction of unique timepieces, Bell & Ross has created a bronze-cased version of its BR 01 Tourbillon, which also features a hand-engraved Jolly Roger image on its dial. Scroll down to read more on this one-of-a-kind watch that blends materials from the golden age of piracy with a modern, steampunk aesthetic. The Bell & Ross BR 01 Skull Bronze Tourbillon features a 46-mm square case, made of aged bronze and highlighted by a skull-and-crossbones-shaped bezel secured by four screws. Inside the borders of the bezel (itself a motif inspired by pirate flags) a hand-engraved Jolly Roger skull made of solid 18k gold rises from the relief, “wet-look” honeycombed dial, made from a copper base with black projection. Directly beneath the 3D piratical image sits the aperture for a flying tourbillon, in a rose-gold cage and bearing Bell & Ross’s ampersand logo (see picture below), whose rotation ticks off the

How does 5167 look on a larger wrist...7 3/4"?
I had the next watch purchase narrowed to an AP ROO Black Theme or a Patek Philippe 5167A-001. Thanks to all of the PP enablers' pics, I'm 99% certain that 5167 is the right choice. Unfortunately, my AD doesn't have any 5167s in stock to try on. I do have a slightly larger 7 3/4 wrist. Anyone with similar size wrist that can share your experience and wrist shot pics?Thank you.
Is it possible for crystal to be etched? (hard water?)
I just noticed that my newer SD43 crystal appears to be etched, the marks look just like hard water spots on a car. Very disconcerting.- I've already rinsed with water and washed with soap, soft sponge - no difference- I'm 100% sure the spots are there. Under certain angles and different lighting I can't see them, but under my desk lamp they are clearly visible.- Once seen, cannot be unseen.... I sometimes play with different chemicals such as brake parts cleaner, carb cleaner etc. I don't recall getting anything on here but that's likely it. How to get this off? CLR? Hit it with a buffing pad an Dremel? Automotive cutting compound? Nail polish remover? (Please don't say send it to the RSC!!!)ThanksPic for proofUse this URL for full resolution pichttps://i.imgur/aoFO4Sq.jpg
Yachtmaster II
Only recently have I been looking to the Yachtmaster II. Not that I own a yacht or anything, but this highly complicated Rolex and its looks drew my attention more and more. Before I jump to any hasty conclusions I was wondering what the forum thinks of this model, and more specifically about the first and second iteration. Can't wait to read your comments. Thanks.
