Got myself onto my first Rolex list a few months ago for a watch I'd been studying for months. The white sky-dweller. I wanted THAT watch. Gave them a 50% downpayment and waited. This did not scratch my want-a-watch itch. So I kept looking. Bought myself a Bluesy, at a nice discount. If I had stopped here, I would have been okay. It was a good price a quite liked it. But I kept looking. Decided I really liked a Patek 5396r-012, with the beautiful breguet numbers. Tried it on, liked it (thought I liked it), so I went to work on acquiring it. Found one at a what was a significant discount. Traded out of the bluesy, and added a big chunk of money, and got myself the Patek. Week or so later, don't love the Patek anymore. Going down the PM route...
Just when I thought I had achieved perfection with my collection, I've gotten the itch to add another... Thankfully I'm surrounded by a bunch of enablers here who won't judge me for my failings. DD40 - What��s the max wrist size on a stock bracelet without adding links?
Quick question that a many of you may know off the top of your head:What is the max wrist size that a stock DD40 bracelet can handle (comfortably) without having to buy extra links?I'm a 7.5 wrist normally. I tried on a fully linked DD40 last night and the watch was fairly snug. This was at an AD down in the Bahamas, at the end of a long hot day, so my wrist size was swelled bigger than normal. I'm thinking I would be fine with a stock size bracelet but wanted some feedback.I had never considered needing to add links to the president bracelet (thinking they came bigger) as I usually take one link out of a glidelock and on a Daytona I'm fully linked with the clasp micro adjustments on the inner/tightest slot.Thanks
