Advice on first ap for keeps
Hi trf!I am currently contemplating my first ap.I have narrowed it down to the 39mm ro blue dial or the ro chrono 41mm in blue or black.My only considerations are:1. I have a puny 6 inch wrist and i am wary of the 41 being too big2. I have heard stories of ap in general having issues with the movement. Should i be worried of the movement in either of the two models?As a background i already have a 5167 which i enjoy very much.Is the ro too similar to the aquanaut?Thanks in advance!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

44mm Rose Gold Offshore
Guys,I am really loving the way the 44mm ROO fills my wrist and there is only one left amongst all the AD of London. Does the 44mm Rose Gold Offshore look odd with a suit or tux? Is it inappropriate for a work atmosphere?Is it not the right watch for someone who doesn't have a few other, dressier watches?The dealer said they are releasing a really nice leather strap for the Rose Gold Offshore. Have any of you seen the watch on a nice leather, or even better, a horn leather strap? Does the Rubber look better? Pics would be great.Thanks,Farris

Which ones to keep?
I have been mostly a lurker on these forums and have accumulated a decent collection of PAMs. I am looking to diversify my watch collection as it is very PAM heavy now. I have a 292 and 359 that I wear in rotation which I don't plan to sell. I also have 372, 390, 417, 448, and 587 that I haven't worn and just sitting in the safe.My rationale is that I will keep two of the 47MM which will be 587 and 372 and the two that I have in rotation. In this option, I will sell the 390, 417 and 448. 292 is my first PAM and holds some value to me. 359 I just really love the look and wear it often. The reason I am finally posting is I would like to hear your thought process on what you will likely keep and why. Perhaps there may be a reason that I am not thinking of. I was a die hard PAM fan but interest has been waning a bit. Thanks in advance for the discussion.

Branching out from another hot topic of paying over MSRP for a Daytona C.Out of town today and I stopped by an AD to check out their inventory. Same old news, not a single SS Sport model other than an Air King. A sales approached me and asked me what am I looking for. I gave him a list of models and his manager (I think) joined the conversation. AD: Well, you need to have a relationship with us in order to get on the list for these Professional models and the Daytona's waiting list is minimum 8 years. ME: Oh, so you don't have anything in stock now?AD: I don't know. Maybe. Maybe not. Question on the Presidential Day-Date
My first rolex was a 118238 with a black diamond dial, diamond bezel and diamonds on the lugs. It was bought in 2001. It is incredibly stunning and is to this day my favorite. I saw on Rolex's website the exact same watch only now the model is 118388. It looks exactly the same as mine. Did they make any improvements to the watch since then? To me, I can't tell a difference. I was just wondering. Thanks for your help :)
