Basel World 2012: Introducing The Tissot Heritage PR 516
This is a great looking new introduction for BaselWorld 2012 from Tissot.? The Heritage PR516 is a throwback to the PR 516 from the 1960s and 70s, one of Tissot's most favored vintage pieces.? To be specific, the Heritage PR516 is actually an homage to the Tissot Seastar PR 516 GL - and this new piece retains the same dial markings as the original.Sized at 40mm with a sapphire caseback (notice the rotor?) the Heritage PR516 will be available in steel or PVD gold and on either a leather racing strap or a steel big-hole bracelet as seen in the picture.?We don't have word on pricing yet, but it will be between $500 and $1000. FYI: If you like the looks of this new Tissot but prefer something vintage, we found an original Tissot PR 516 in NOS condition right here (no affiliation with seller).

PAM 233 Changes
Just left the NYC boutique and the rep told me that the 233 is losing the dome crystal AND it's going to be fully polished in the next production series. This is the first I've heard about the polished case but its the second time that a rep has told me the dome is getting the axe. The first time was the flagship boutique in Florence last month.I'm hope Panerai decides to change their mind. The 233 is perfect the way it is.
The Official I am a complete Hypocrite list
Did you bash the wg Blro due to the blue and red colors that were used? Completely understandable as they aren't as rich as the aluminum versions but do kinda look like the Bakelite colors. Of course, this was the best red rolex can come up with to use that generates the least purple blue. Now, do you want to purchase the new ss Blro with the jubilee bracelet because it is s 10/10 rolex knocked it out of the park with this version?Congrats....you are officially a biplocrite and can add your name to this list. And by the way Since both the yellow gold and white gold GMT's currently have the old movement Chances are that when they get updated The white gold GMT will be the first GMT with the Coke bezel...And you will have four years to complain about how the red doesn't look quite right but then at basel 2023 it will be introduced into stainless steel model and boy oh boy you will want to get it as soon as possible.
Current WG Pepsi BLRO owners should not be upset
I'm not sure why current BLRO Pepsi WG users would be upset over this years release of a SS Jubilee Pepsi. You have a Pepsi bezel with oyster, which seems to be favored over Jubilee (I prefer latter). This is the ONLY way to have a Pepsi with an oyster and will likely remain this way.You have the black dial, which in my opinion looks better than the new blue dial, I have yet to see a side by side but I always like the way the black contrasted with the bezel. With one of the shortest runs , 3 years I believe, and not really a hot seller, this is one is destined to be a collectors item and maintain its value. It's not a common watch.I'm not sure about this last item, but the BLRO bezel seems to be more detailed with the transition of colors, in the renderings it looks like the new SS just cuts off from one color to the other with no transition. If true I think the WG bezel is superior, this point is null if they are using the exact same bezel. The BLRO was a niche watch for someone who kno
