Jaquet Droz unveils 5 new models for 2009 including a simple “less is more” 50mm pocket watch, two complicated pieces with mineral dials, second time zone, and 24 hour displays, and two tourbillons, one of which measures in at a stately 47mm. La Montre de PocheJaquet Droz presents a pocket watch that embodies their less is more philosophy. La Montre de Poche is housed in a red gold case measuring 50mm in diameter. The dial is hand-crafted enamel while the hands are red gold, as are the accompanying chain and charms. The watch is powered by a Jaquet Droz caliber 2615 30 jewel manual winding movement with an autonomy of 40 hours. Jeweler scratched my case :(
I noticed a tiny fleck or something attached to the inside of the sapphire crystal of my 210 so I sent it back to the gray jeweler I purchased it from (bnib complete set). When they returned it I noticed that the back side of the case was deeply scratched. (you can tell it was made by whatever tool they used to pry off the case back bezel(?). They freaking denied doing the damage first off, and then told me they never opened the case back (that it was simply a dust particle on the outside of the glass, which it 100% was NOT). Anyway, they took it back to polish out their scratches, but not all came out. There are still a couple scratches that won't come out. Although it is on the underside of the watch, and no one would ever see it unless I took it off and flipped it over and showed them, it still bugs me that they did this (and then lied). Now, I have still been talking to them about this and they agreed to let me trade it back in towards another watch. A 183 bnib + a few hundred

Couldn't get my mind off this thing for a long time after I got my Z Blue last May. Had some recent good fortune come my way and I thought it was time. After numerous stops at the local AD with no supply in/or on the horizon for the last few months, I was told they had a few YM coming in. They weren't sure which ones but a few were coming. I requested that if a Rhodium dial shows up it was mine. I got the text last Wednesday. I was there 15 minutes later with a hold on it until Saturday. Couldn't be happier with the local AD. He put a great deal on the table that was better than any across Canada that I had found. No one was even giving a discount. Not even my friend who has been doing this for 20 years could get on on this watch. He could all day long if he or I was wanting a DJ. I went in on Saturday and picked it up. Never even hit the showcase. No ones hands but mine were on it. Took a few pics at work at my desk and then when I got home. Looks like 2 different watchesSent from my
