This microcosm of horology is mostly proliferated by custom Rolex watches, which are becoming quite popular. One of the most common questions I have been getting from people all over the world is, "when will Rolex start to offer black colored watches?" They seem to feel that with all the custom Rolex watches out there with black cases, there seems to be a less-than-insignificant demand. That may be so, but I don't think that Rolex is going to start offering black-coated Submariners or other models now or anytime in the near future.Why? Well, think about it. Rolex is first and foremost about respecting their past. The first question they will ask themselves is, "have we offered back-colored watches in the past?" Got a voice mail from my AD...
Hi guys,I got back and from 6 weeks long vacation in South East Asia and got a voice mail a day before Thanksgiving saying that my SD43 is at the AD ready to be picked up. Today I called my favorite AD and asked if the watch is still available since it has been 3 weeks ago when they left the message. Well, they told me so many people has asked for this SD43 but they keep for me even the supply on SS sport watches is very very tight...So looks like I am to pick it up later this weekend.It's good that it's a 2017 SD43 so it's a real 50th Anv Sea Dweller, next year who knows LOL/Just kidding :)

Watch box starts the collection
Hi all I've been jealous of your collection displays for a while. Today for my 2 year anniversary I received a box for mine. Clearly not as impressive as some but I like them. The small Rolex is my wife's, both that and the 30 year old Cyma were given to us by her HK grandfather. Room for one more.
