Introducing: The Girard-Perregaux Esmeralda Tourbillon
Though the tourbillon's rightly associated with the name of its inventor, A. L. Breguet, it is also associated, in the minds of many students of its history, with another name: Girard-Perregaux. One of the greatest practitioners of the art of tourbillon making was Constant Girard, who founded Girard-Perregaux in about 1852, and who invented a configuration for the tourbillon that still influences tourbillon design today: the tourbillon under 3 bridges, often gold. Please help identify an old omega
So I found this Omega at my parents, we've had it ever since I can remember. From looking at it, obviously I can see that it says Seamaster. However, I've been checking online for vintage/old omega's and just can't find this model. It still works and I have no idea if its real or not (i think it should be). Any information would be great!
