UTS 4000M Pacific Horizon Blue Dive Watch
Hand-made German UTS watches are one of those secret tool watch brands that all serious timepiece lovers eventually learn about. Their flagship model range is the 4000M, which now comes with a metallic blue diver as the UTS 4000M Pacific Horizon Blue limited edition dive watch. Produced in Munich, these are some of the most durable timepieces on the planet.Despite its massive water?resistance, the UTS 4000M Pacific Horizon Blue watch does note require a helium release valve, pretty much because it is so darn strong. The sapphire crystal (fully AR coated) is 6mm thick, and UTS uses a special system to hold the crystal in place. Thus, the extra crown on the 4000M watch case is not a helium release valve, but rather a lock to keep the rotating diver's bezel from turning. The bezel further makes use of ceramic ball bearings for the rotation system.UTS produces the cases for each of their watches in Germany, from German steel, and they aren't stamped but rather individually milled. New addition..... Transocean Chrono
My AD was able to get a L.E. Transocean Chronograph for me...... It's hard to get a photo of the true blue of the dial as it is an ever changing blue, depending on the light source.....A new style box.....The transparent back showing the B01 movement.....Not the best wrist shot, but it gives you an idea of the changing blue....
Here I go again...
I have become a chronic flipper, often buying again I watch I sold in the past, seems like I just can't resist the urge to own something else and since funds are limited I always flip something.I've flipper too many watches and brands to list here, but the issue is this:I flipped a Speedy Pro (hesalite) to buy a Pam111I liked the Pam a lot, but missed the Speedy too much, so I sold itOnly to buy another Speedy ProNow I miss the Pam too much, but don't want to flip the SpeedySo I'm thinking of springing for a pre-loved PamI wanted a base, either Luminor or Radiomir, but yesterday I was offered a Pam024 which I have never liked and never considered. But once I tried it, it was all over right then and there, I just had to have it. It's amazing how something I thought I didn't like becomes all of the sudden an obsession. So, the price is reasonable, the watch is in good condition and buying would not jeopardize my financial stability.Would you?Never been a fan of submersibles, they always se
Rolex in Alaska!
Well after 25 years of wanting a Rolex I finally pulled the trigger and bought a Submariner date. 116410 Black!! My desire to own started out when I first seen a sub while on vacation in Hawaii. And every time I took the family on vacations undoubtedly was in some mall that a Rolex AD was. I tried one on every year and always had a great white glove experience. Two months ago I called my Alaska Anchorage Rolex AD and got on the list And was told that they have not received one in 6 months and to be patient. I received a call from Macey, the Rolex sales lady! I paid for it over the phone and and picked it up a week later when I got home from work. The watch tech removed two links and it now fits like a glove. I paid the MSRP of 8550$ and I am very glad to own this watch. It's beautiful and I will wear it daily. Ted
Pre Basel Rolex
Has Rolex ever launched anything pre Basel, like other brands, or do we have to wait till the last second. There pretty good at making us wait.
