Thinking about 39mm 15300.st and 26300.st
So I am a little late to the game and just started to get curious on these 2 models. So far, blue looks pretty cool though white may look better on my skin tone(darker skin Asian) so a little torn here. Mind if I can request for some wrist shots to give me more perspective guys? Thank you for the enabling :-)Fred
help... watch stops on my winder.
Hello. I just acquired an early 2000s Seamaster 120 with caliber 1120 movement. The watch hasn't been serviced according to the previous owner. I will be getting this done sooner than later. Anyway, for Christmas, my wife gave me a Brookstone watch winder which I am now using. On about 1150 revs per day, my Rolex Sub stays perfectly wound and on time. Twice in the past week, I have come to find my Omega stopped on the winder. Both times I have hand wound between 40 and 50 turns. Within 10 or so turns, it starts up. I am afraid that the winder is not winding the watch. Everything I can find says it should be set for 600 to 800 TPD. At 1150 TPD, it is stopping. On a caliber 1120 movement, how many turns by hand is a full wind? I just assumed 40 to 50. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
my first - calatrava vs AC?
my first foray into a PP dress watch. for those who had done the same, did u contemplate between a calatrava vs an annual calendar?the models I've been eyeing are very different from each other:5107/27Rvs5056P/5146Gthe case/dial variant of the 5107/27 is minimal, and don't mind having the c315 over the more current c324.the case/dial variant of 5056P/5146G are significant... again, don't mind c315.in the perfect world, I'd have both. but what considerations did others go thru if/when they had to decide between the two complications?
Gift 5711, something seems off, but not sure what.
Hey all, First the story- I was asked what I'd like for my birthday and I said a blue dial 5980, because why not aim high? Disappointingly, they don't know any better and went for the 5711- a fine watch no doubt, but a bit boring. At least they were able to find a brand new one. Anyway, as with any shady Got this as a gift, is it real? story on here, it is not for sale (I am obviously looking to sell it, please PM me before any experts come in and out me) and just wanted to make sure that it was the real deal as the box was just a white cardboard thing. The crown seems SLIGHTLY different than what I've seen, but I think that small manufacturing variations are normal. I love the way that the dial glows over the bezel somehow. Can somebody explain the manufacturing process? Anyway if anybody has a serious offer, I'm looking for a 5980 and can send some cash your way. Comes with 8 paper plates, 1 knife and 8 forks.
