AP classic grande complications
Wanted to share with you some pics of AP complicated watches.Interesting in a way but not up to the level of design of Patek for these kinds of grande complication watches, as much as AP is top notch for their sport watches, it seems to me that Patek blows them out of the water with equivalent pieces.Like a lot their pocket watch though, kind of piece which is really cool to have in a very big collection, or if your name is Johnny Depp, you see him very often with a chain indicating clearly he has a pocket watchEnjoy the pics2890523gross.jpg25996TI_OO_D002CR_02.jpg26356PT_OO_D028CR_01.jpg26353PT_OO_D028CR_01.jpg25712BA_OO_0000xx_01.jpg
I just keep going back to the OEM Strap...
I have tried a bunch of straps at &100++ per strap and I find these thick vintage looking straps with large buckles to be very uncomfortable and I keep retuning to the OEM strap I love the look of the dark vintage strap just not the feel on my wrist Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
New SS GMT Bezel Insert Observation
I guess I assumed the new GMT Pepsi SS would have the same Bezel, Cerachrom that the BLNR had but after looking closely, I noticed they are inserts where one color stops and the other starts. Unlike the Bezel on the BLNR that is baked and one color merges into the other, the new bezel colors start and stop abbruptly.Sent from my MHA-L29 using Tapatalk
18238 onyx dial
Good evening ladies and gentlemen first time poster long time member I ran into a small dilemma lately just to let you all know it's not my first rodeo I own several Rolex watches starting with a Rolex president Rolex submariner Rolex yacht Master and a Rolex date just the gentleman that services my watches has a friend from out of state that is selling a Rolex 18238 black onyx dial freshly serviced for sale. The watchmaker is offering me this watch for $8300 cash which I think is a steal I've spoken to him and asked him about a bill of sale and he said of course I will provide you with one with the sellers name and the watchmaker and I will sign it....this deal sounds too good to be true...can yal advise me on what things I should be looking out for? My concerns are the watch being stolen this is a side deal from where he works he is a certified Rolex tech any advice would be great... ps the watch was serviced by the him (watchmaker) that is trying to sell it to me and it comes with a
Nato and spring bar
Do you guys use the oem spring bars when you put on your Nato straps? Does the Nato put pressure on the spring bars causing them to bend or come loose? Thanks.
