Marc Michel-Amadry Appointed Managing Director of Sothebys Switzerland
Marc Michel-Amadry has been named as managing director of Sotheby's Switzerland. Mr Michel-Amadry will divide his time between Sotheby's Zurich and Geneva. Sotheby’s said the re-establishment of a pan-Swiss management structure reflects the growing importance of the company’s business in Switzerland and will enhance its ability to provide client services. Michel-Amadry joins Sotheby's from his position as President and Creative Director of Ebel and Concord, two brands at Movado Group Inc. He began his career at TAG Heuer, where he gained international experience working in Singapore managing the marketing of the brand for the Southeast Asia region. He was then appointed to his first senior leadership role at age 31 as General Manager of LVMH Watch & Jewellery, also based in Singapore. Michel-Amadry joined Ebel in 2003 as director of international marketing in charge of international media strategy, advertising, public relations, retail marketing and high-end jewellery b
5726A can you buy the straps afterwards?
Hi guys so i'm looking at adding the 5726 in SS to my collection and see that there is one with a bracelet and one with a strap. I would have thought that these are interchangeable as they are the same watch. However the AD told me Patek will not sell or fit a strap for example if I bought the bracelet version . Is this true?? Seems odd when the parts exist and it's not like i'm doing some crazy configuration....Also which one will you guys for? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Polished Center Links Wear/Patina
Does anyone have pcl watch that you wear daily with the center links scratched up (normal wear and tear)? I love the newer bracelets but don't like the polished jewelry look. I'm interested to see what this watch or similar and its bracelet look like out in the wild with normal wear and tear. I'm interested in the 36dj ss dome bezel.
SOTC- 2017
Hi folks, I posted this on the TZ forum but I thought I'd share my 2017 SOTC here with my TRF friends also. First, what didn't make the cut in 2017: My first release of the year was my AP 15400 with the white dial. It's been the only AP I've ever owned and I do hope one day to get back to the AP family. Maybe a Jumbo would be the ticket? I really really wanted to connect for life with the 15400 but I could not get the darn watch to fit right. Even with the 1.5 link it was either too tight or too loose. While I'm being completely honest too I think AP went a little too big with this reference. None the less, a forum member got a great deal and off it went. The one I was most surprised about was my Patek 5711 with a white dial. I had the opportunity to purchase this one from an AD this year and I jumped at the chance. But for whatever reason it didn't sing and didn't stay long with me. Next to go was my IWC Portuguese Auto 5001-07. I had this one in the collection for several years. I s
