About to take the plunge on a Diver
Hi guys,Long time forum reader but wanted to jump in with my first post. I am narrowing in on a long considered purchase of a ROO Diver 15710 with black dial. For me the open case back is the biggest factor vs the 15703 to see the amazing workmanship of the movement, especially as this will be my first 'holy trinity' piece. When I first began scoping out AP I was set on the 15400, but even after trying all three dial colours it never grabbed me the same way as when I first tried on the diver - I almost bought it there and then on the spot !One thing though that I am intrigued about is the price difference (when at full retail at any rate) between the diver and the 15400. In my book the diver, absent the virtually handmade bracelet, which clearly adds to the overall cost of manufacture should be positioned at a lower cost than the diver with a rubber strap. Opportunity to buy 2 pre-owned Omegas
Someone I know is selling a Seamaster Professional quartz and a Speedmaster Michael Schumacher 3519.50.00 . Both watches are a fair few years old. The Seamaster has had a recent new battery, but the bezel is faded (evenly) and has no box, just the warranty card. Otherwise in good condition. The Schumacher is fully boxed with all cards etc. Again nice condtion. I need to check the authenticity before buying so how do I go about this, and also what do you reckon would be a good deal for both watches based on the description above? I am in England.

Looking for wisdom from Rolex owners
Hi guys, I am working on a creative project that talks about how Rolex plays a role in father and son relationship, my personal history with Rolex has been that my father introduced me to the Rolex brand when I was about 16 years old, passed on his GMT to me when I was 25, then I eventually purchased my first Sub at 31 years old. I love Rolex because of the history, the craftsmanship, durability and look, had my father never owned one I would probably never been interested in one.A watch is purchased, gifted, or passed on for many reasons, my question is in regards to Rolex specifically, on a father and son relationship.Why do you feel a Rolex is passed on?
