The Reign Of Sports Watches: What Everyone Wants To Wear
Sport and Sports watches are what people are most looking to buy these days. Watches under this category get the most internet searches, and enjoy the most interesting releases. What is a sport watch? And why does everyone want one? The answer is simple, and goes to the heart of what a watch is. First, you need to know what a sport watch is not, namely any watch whose purpose is to be time-telling jewelry. A sport watch is any watch whose purpose (at least historically) is to provide special utility during some activity or event. There are many categories of sport watches, but the main ones are; diving watches, racing watches, pilot watches, military watches, and all purpose rugged watches. Acquanaut Tropical Straps
Guys, quick bit of help needed re the colour variations for tropical straps for the 5167 and 5164. Green - made for the 5167 but also fits the 5164 with a slight gapIs the blue that fits the 5164 made for the 5650G or 5168G? Has anyone managed to order one from an AD to put on - 5164. Does it fit on a 5167? Thanks in advance
5980 variant introductions
I understand the white dialled 5980 option came last, first seen at Baselworld 2012.But what about the black dial option? It seems it came at some point in 2010 - but not at Baselworld 2010? Are there other popular launch events Patek uses? Finally, obviously this means the blue was made in largest amounts from 2006 - but I am curious just how much less black and white dial versions are out there - any guesses?
Just got a pam 000
Will upload pictures really happy!!!!!!!!!!
Is it just me or has there been a general decline in Panerai luster?
Not sure if it's been just me no longer having my 312 from before and not following the Panerai board as much as I used to, but surfing through the thread here and there - I've noticed that there's been a decline in Panerai interest or allure. Especially with SIHH 2013 with lackluster showing, it seems like the allure nowadays is nowhere near what I felt it was 2-3 years ago. What's the consensus? Am I totally way off base? Thanks!
