Morgenwerk Satellite Precision Watch Is More Accurate Than Your Mobile Phone
I met the chaps behind new watch brand Morgenwerk in Hong Kong of all places, though this is not an Asian watch brand. Morgenwerk comes from the people responsible for a small brand called Neolog out of Germany. What they showed me was damn impressive, and is officially THE watch my inner gadget lover craves this year - it is also affordable. There is a lot to say about the simply named Satellite Precision (SP) collection of watches, I will begin by mentioning a very cool feature which will make these timepieces more accurate than your mobile phones or computers. In fact, the SP collection as a whole is full of redundant features to promote accuracy - in a refreshingly obsessive style. What do you get when you combine a thermo-compensated quartz movement with GPS satellite synching and a newly developed "self learning" movement that compensates for its own errors? Probably the most accurate timepiece in the world. You see, mobile phones have basic internal clocks that use inexpensive el
Bring a Loupe: Completely Fake Patek Philippe 1463 In Steel On eBay For Over $25,000 C Here's Ho
Fake watches are scary and plentiful, great original watches are beautiful but scarce – this is why we keep you up to speed in our weekly edition of Bring A Loupe. However, a weekly column isn't enough to flag all the offenders and we see countless bad watches sell each week. Sometimes, however, we see one that is so offensive, and in this case, so expensive, that we just have to dedicate an entire story to it here. A watch listed right here on eBay is supposed to be a rare Patek Philippe. It is, of course, not at all a Patek Philippe, but that doesn't prevent it from having a price of over $18,000 right now, with two more days to go.I will not only expose the parts that make this fake the worst buy you could ever make, but also the general attitude that I recommend having when hunting for a watch. My motto: only the paranoid make good collectors. When It Is Too Good To Be True Finding an amazing watch for a bargain is like looking for water in the desert: th
AP ROC - what models are available?
Hi guys,I must admit that the ROC is singing louder and louder to me My daytona is becoming jealous of my attention towards the ROC...I looked in the sticky section for the ROC's - but after some google searches the differences were not that obvious to me (probably my fault...)Below is the ROC list (I excluded the LE versions) - could somebody educate me on the differences? It seems like the 26300 is one of the newer versions - or is it just a new dial config? Im interested in the 39 mm SS versionsChronograph 25860 Chronograph 25960 Chronograph 25966 Chronograph 25967 Chronograph 25978 Chronograph 26022 Chronograph 26068 Chronograph 26300
B01 Help
Hi GuysI am a bit confused. I saw 'B01 chronomat' (I think) a few years ago, at the time I was just starting my Rolex collection. I am now in the market for a 'B01' but don't see much reference to them, are they discontinued or do the go by another name now? Thanks in advance.
Seamaster Professional Bezel Insert
Does anyone know if you can purchase an Omega bezel insert for a Seamaster Professional, as you can with a Rolex, or do you have to purchase the complete bezel? Thanks,Brian
