Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro Review
We've reviewed many Christopher Ward watches since we started worn&wound, but somehow we've never reviewed one of their most popular models; the C60 Trident Pro. Well, it's time to correct that. This watch is not just exceedingly popular because of its classic diver looks, it's also because it offers a tremendous value that few other watches can compete with. Swiss made, Selitta SW200 movement, 4mm thick sapphire crystal make this $535-$635, strap option depending, a great deal.Christopher Ward doesn't dance around the inspiration of the Trident line with language like "based on a certain famous watch" they go straight for it, saying that the watch takes its cues from the 1954 Rolex GMT Master. This is clearer in the C60 Trident GMT models, as they have GMT hands and a similar bezel (though the iconic "pepsi" version seems to have been discontinued). The 3-hand model we are looking at today has more similarities to the Submariner, but in both cases C Ward has done a great job of ta

Breitling Hand Discoloration??
I just picked up a Titanium Seawolf from ~2007 from the original owner, and it appears that the minute has a very slight yellow-hue to it compared to the white of the hour and second hands. Is this common/early patina? I've been searching for pics of other Ti Seawolfs and in some pics, some hands look discolored but it is hard to tell with lighting, etc. It's starting to bother me at this point - what are my options for obtaining a replacement? I hope I don't have to send it into BUSA for a service :-/Thanks for your input. Otherwise, awesome watch. The Ti makes this my most comfortable watch despite it being by far my largest!!
Turning the Bezel on a Speedie Pro??
Hi Everyone. Quick question for you experts on the 3570.50 moonwatch:The tachymetre graduations of 60 and 120 on my bezel aren't dead center on the 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock lines. I have one of those rubber tools that is used to remove the bezels from divers watches. If I grabbed the Speedie's bezel with this, could I just turn it slightly? Is it just simple a friction fit?I want to make sure there is nothing I would damage by doing this (such as adhesive or whatever).thanks!
My new OEM PO XL Rubber Strap (Lots of photos)
I Ordered it 6 weeks ago , and finally is here...It came in this luxury plastic bugWave design under the strapIt's a deployment strap so the deployment buckle is necessary..Time to take the bracelet off Removing the braceletThe strap is waiting to ''meet'' the watch...On the left the bracelet's spring bars and on the the right the bigger spring bars i am going to use with this strap. Both pairs are genuine .Omega is using bigger spring bars for straps and smaller with bracelets , for more secure fitting i guessparison photo:On the left the strap with the bracelet's spring bar and on the right the bigger one.Wrist shots finallyThats it , thank you very much for watching.
