Parmigiani Fleurier recently released a preview of one of its four new Tonda Mtro?timepieces, which the brand will officially launch in Geneva this January, at the 2016 Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH).The launch of the new collection will showcase the work of a talented photographer that the Parmigiani manufacture worked with and will feature four cities around the globe, each representing a different Tonda Mtro model. Chicago is the first city chosen, and will represent the new Parmigiani Tonda Mtrographe Abyss Blue (shown). Three more yet-to-be-announced models will follow. The Parmigiani Tonda Mtrographe Abyss Blue features a distinctive, blue-colored dial, which requires the careful skill of the brand's master dial maker to create. To create this special shade of blue is no easy task. Linde Werdelin SpidoLite II Tech
Linde Werdelin has announced two new limited edition models for their SpidoLite II series of luxury sport watches. The new LW SpidoLite II Tech features two variations of a watch that takes the recognizable SpidoLite II platform and moves it into the next generation as far as case construction and materials are concerned. The SpidoLite II Tech boasts case composition which employs both forged carbon and Linde Werdelin's own ALW, a proprietary metal alloy that is the result of two years worth of research and development. The Tech series shares the same 44 x 15mm case proportions as the rest of the SpidoLite II family and shares a similar look with a two-piece skeletonised dial, sub seconds at nine, and a date display at three. What sets the new Tech models apart is their high tech case construction, which is comprised of an inner case made of ALW (Alloy Linde Werdelin) and an outer case fashioned from forged carbon fibre. ALW is an metal alloy that Linde Werdelin reports to be 50% lighte

Thoughts on a rose gold bracelet versus a leather strap?
Hi folks, Please share your take on the aesthetics, the style, the wearability, and everything that goes into a gold bracelet on a dress watch versus a strap. It's much appreciated, thanks!I'm looking at something like this:VersusSomething like this:
Thoughts on the Rolex Daytona White Gold....
and silver dial with the oyster flex bracelet: 116519Anyone here have the watch and love it? That oysterflex is super comfortable from the two times I've tried it on. Any thoughts on how it will hold value relative to the SS Daytonas? I know it's always more of a risk when talking about any precious metal watch vs the SS professional series line.I'm contemplating a PP Nautilus 5726 as well, or an AP Royal Oak 39mm (if I can get my hands on one). If I get the Royal Oak, I will get the IWC portugueser to go with it. I'm a lot more confident in the Royal oak or Nautilus 5726 holding their value relative to the White gold daytona.
