Richard Mille RM 36-01 G-Sensor Sebastien Loeb Limited Edition Watch
At last year's SIHH,?Richard Mille presented to the world the RM 036, a 15-pieces limited edition of what was their first wristwatch equipped with a G-force sensor. With the RM 36-01, a new piece for the 2014 SIHH, the brand?reiterates the G-sensor technology with some modifications in both its construction and its presentation specially made for their rally car driving brand ambassador. And although the "RM 36-01 Competition G-Sensor Sebastien Loeb" makes little sense as a name, it does rather well at describing some of the key features of this 47.70 millimeter lightweight monstrosity. This is also Loeb's debut watch being a Richard Mille ambassador. Previously he was with Marvin watches and has a Loeb chronograph made with them.To begin with the most outlandish of them all, the G-force sensor has been slightly redesigned. While its needle read-out at 12 o'clock still does not offer an exact numerical indication for the extent of G-forces the wearer experienced, on its scale it is now

My Transitional Speedmaster 861--Lots of Pics!
Hey all.Just wanted to post some pics of the Transitional 861 I picked up. Before the pictures, I want to give a big thank you to 007Sub and pdoukas. Both TRF members gave me a lot of information, and advice on this purchase. Thank you very much, Greg and Pete I bought this watch from the second owner. He bought it in 1972 from the original owner. The only work that has been done to the watch is having the original crystal, which had a crack, replaced in 1972; a servicing in 2010; and lastly, a new Omega 1171 bracelet two weeks prior to the sale. Otherwise, the watch is as close to original as it was in 1968.The second owner was a part time flyer, who only used the watch during flights. He will be sending me a list of the places the watch has been, which I will post here. Apparently this watch has seen a lot of very cold places across Northern Canada. The bezel has faded from black to grey--a ghost bezel--which apparently is not an undesirable effect The dial has taken on an eve
AP 26400 FC for Patek 5164 ??
Simple proposition is on the table. Would have to add a few K. Would you? Any thoughts would be appreciated. For full disclosure I do have a 5980r and AP diver both of which would stay.I posted the same question over at the AP forum so if you've chimed in there I appreciate it. TIA for all the opinions.
