Hublot's Masterpiece (MP) Watch Collection
Sponsored PostLong known for its Big Bang, Classic Fusion and King Power models, Hublot's unique MP collection was first unveiled at the Geneva Trade Show in January 2011 with the introduction of the MP-01. These record-breaking pieces are made possible by a team of 30 developers and engineers devoted entirely to grand complications and extraordinary movements. The collection accurately reflects Hublot's Chairman, Jean-Claude Biver's statement: More watchmaking, more mastery, more innovation The first Masterpiece, the MP-01, was limited to 100 pieces and was a barrel-shaped titanium watch with a curved chronograph movement and a 10-day power reserve made possible by three barrels working consecutively. Developed and manufactured entirely by Hublot's dedicated team, the timepiece is composed of 384 components and 43 jewels.Since 2011, several more ground breaking timepieces have come out as part of this collection, including the MP-02 Key of Time, which allows wearers to modulate

The Application Process
How does the application process work? Is there an essay you write describing why you believe you are worthy of keeping it for the next generation? Do you recount your watch-buying history? Describe the first time you saw a Nautilus and got weak in the knees?Or is it more general? Do you attach your engagement announcement as posted in the New York Times? Attach your school transcripts starting from prep school?I really don't know, although I am not sure if I will like the answer.

PM musings
I've been thinking about my first PM purchase, which I'm hoping to do by the summer, and have been between a gold sub and the DayDate 40. Tried on the gold sub here:https://.rolexforums/showthread.php?t=597309What I didn't take into account was the DayDate II, as EVERYONE seems to love the the DayDate 40's proportions and lines. Saw this at the AD and fell in love on sight, but looking at the pictures now, it just seems a bit...wide. Unfortunately, they didn't have the YG with silver romans dial, so will continue to try on pieces until I find the one that yells buy me!.On another note, has anyone noticed that the rose gold on the DayDate 40 is a bit more copper-ish in tone, as compared to the DayDate II? I actually like the color of this DayDate II, but the DayDate 40 just blends too much with my skin.
