Introducing the C Ward C9 5 Day Small-Seconds
Nearly a year ago Christopher Ward announced their game changing SH21 movement. In a single move, granted one that was many years in the making, C. Ward changed the watch industry, demonstrating that in-house Swiss-made movements with robust features weren't just for haute brands and giant luxury corporations. They showed that at a price point where many luxury brands are still using Sellitas and ETAs (if they can get them) as well as quartz, that a relatively small on-line only watch brand could manufacture a 5-day chronometer�� which is to say not just a movement, but one that would command a higher than average price. Thanks to everyone who chimed in about cutting the strap, and all the gratuitous picture posts that help me fall in love with this watch!I probably spent 10 minutes unboxing everything before I even got to the watch!The clasp is amazing.I must admit, when I first saw the Aquanaut several years ago I thought it was terrible. Actually, at that time, everything in the Patek lineup was nothing special to me (into Panerai and Rolex at the time)...now I'm thinking it's time the Panerai moves on - I can't see why I'd wear it now that I have this beauty.

Advice required: Luminor Pam 537 or Radiomir Pam 628
Hi all,Im looking at getting my first Panerai. I tried on a Radiomir 425 SLC and was about to pull the trigger when my thespian of a mate showed me a picture of a hobnail dialled Luminor 537, which i thought looked fantastic.I then read that Panerai have just recently released a 45mm Radiomir hobnail dial (Pam 628).My concern is that at 42mm, the Pam 537 will wear small given that Panerais appear to be watches that should be larger in scale (im a reasonably fit fellow at 180cm and 100kg/220 pounds).Should i wait for the Radiomir Pam 628 or push on with a Luminor Pam 537?Any pics of you larger blokes with the smaller Panerai watches would be fantastic.Thanks in advance.Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk

How many full-size links in the 2016+ Explorer 214270 bracelet?
Hello TRF,I'm looking into a deal on a 214270 Explorer (mk2 / Post 2016 Basel World), and was wondering if anyone knew how many full size links are supposed to come on its oyster bracelet?Not including end links, it seems as if it should come with 12 full size links (6 at 12 and 6 at 6), and the 13th adjustment link under the clasp. However, I can't find anything to confirm this.Can anyone who owns one confirm or post pics of their unsized bracelet? How much should I reasonably ask to discount the watch if it is missing a link?Any help is appreciated!Thanks!
