Designed to be as handsome as it is affordable, the E30 features sapphire crystals, a Miyota 9015 and a price point of only $283. This makes the E30 an interesting offering as it's not only one of the few mechanical dress/casual pieces under $500, it's one of the least expensive watches to be powered by the 9015. My Experience at the Royal Oak 40th Anniversary Exhibition @ Singapore
Set in the exotic venue of the historic Tanjong Pagar Railway Station, the Royal Oak 40th Anniversary Exhibition came to the last leg of its world tour in Singapore from 10 - 14 Oct 2012. Thanks to AP, Timezone and my AD, my partner and I were very fortunate to be invited to the cocktail receptions to witness and participate in the wonderful celebration of one of the most iconic horology creations in our time. Naturally, the highlight of the exhibition was the 100 iconic Royal Oak timepieces and invaluable memorabilia dating back to the beginning of the 70s. However, we were equally fascinated by the exciting atmosphere, artistic deco, and the wonderful cuisines and live performances. Of course, for a watch enthusiast, the best part for me was definitely the opportunity to interact with the watchmakers at the Workshop! Vacation led me to my first Patek
I was recently on vacation in Maui as part of a work trip. I knew Barron and Leeds on the island carried Patek and since my hotel was 5 minutes away I decided to pay them a visit to look, but had no intention of buying anything. Upon arriving the store was dead and the ladies working were very nice and quick to remove any watch from the case I so much as pointed at. I had always loved the aquanaut and the pushers on the 5164 intrigued me. When I inquired on any aquanauts in the store the woman said they only had the gmt and removed it from a display. I was instantly in love. She let me play with the pushers and try it on. After handing it back to her we chatted more and as I was leaving the store the woman said that they would be more apt to negotiate on the last day of the month, today, than the first. Patek pocket watch - unique dial
While doing a free appraisal event, I came cross this pocket watch - its marked Patek Philippe on the inner case; however, these are the only two shots I could get. So the story goes, the Great-granddad Turner special ordered this for his wife directly from patek. Anyone seen such a unique dial?

Do Patek Phillippe watches keep better time?
As an automatic, do PP keep better time than say, Rolexes and others in that category? I'm only asking out of curiosity, and for the record, I have never measured the accuracy of my Rolex.Do 'you guys' expect, and get, better accuracy from your pieces?
