HourTime Show Watch Podcast Episode 133 - A Quintet of Time
How is it that we can love one unreasonably priced expensive watch while feeling something totally different for another? The unique emotions behind desiring the unnecessary comes into play as we discuss the HYT H2 watch as well as the Breva Genie 01. We also take a close look at the reader response to our recent Rolex Submariner watch review, as well as the pretty cool Antoine Martin Slow Runner and the Basis fitness watch.Listen to episode 133 of the HourTime show watch podcast here. Incoming from APNY
After following texex91's recent experience with the APNY boutique, I decided to call last week to see what they had in stock since I was in NY over the holiday weekend. To my surprise they had all three references I was considering: the 15202ST, FC Diver, and Ceramic Diver. Before seeing any of these watches in the flesh, my practical side had decided on the 15202ST and my young/reckless side had decided on the FC Diver. I had expected a difficult decision-making process, but a clear winner quickly emerged. Any guesses as to which will be at my door in the morning?
Hello...now help me decide.
First let me say hello. I've been a lurker for quite a while now and enjoy browsing on this forum. Let me first start by saying that I am an Omega FREAK!! I've always loved the Planet Ocean series. From the calibre 2500 to the current 8500. They are just awesome. I have finally reached the point in my life where I'm ready to take the plunge and get my first real timepiece. After lots of researching and countless trips to the A.D. I have narrowed my selection down to just a couple. I believe that the watch I will be buying is either the Omega Chronograph 9300 or the Omega 8605 GMT. Both watches are unique in their own way and I'm not going to go into the differences because you all know what there are. My question to members on this board is which one would you choose? I look forward to the discussion that ensues and everyone's answers. I know that either watch I choose will be a great watch, just don't want to have any regrets. Thanks Dave
