CNN Launches Cartier Sponsored "Ones To Watch" Programming
On October 10th 2014, CNN will debut a new television program called "Ones to Watch" that will be fully sponsored by French watch and jewelry maker Cartier. Like most major media, Turner-owned CNN has been experimenting with new ways of deriving revenue with advertiser sponsored content. In fact, sponsoring an entire show and surrounding media is not at all new. Years ago, it used to be that television programs had one major sponsor. Ones To Watch will be a monthly show that focuses on discovering emerging artists and their work around the world.Richemont Group-owned Cartier is far and away the most important revenue earner of the group, which holds a number of major luxury watch and jewelry brands in its portfolio including IWC, Montblanc, Panerai, Jaeger-LeCoultre, and more. Cartier has been praised with a more forward-thinking approach when it comes to modern media, as compared to many of its luxury industry colleagues. Cartier has not only embraced online sales of many of its produ

Sorry for the incorrect NASA reference but just could not help it. The other day my AD was having a tent sale and I could not make it over there as I had previous obligations and he is 3 hours away. So I asked that he send some pictures of the good deals that he had to let me peruse. I had no intention of buying anything as I was convinced I was wanting a blue Pelagos next but had to see if anything was too good to pass up. How does it go???? Curiosity killed the cat. Well then I am the kitty. I spot this beauty buried in the middle of the picture amongst several Tudor and Rolex pieces along with a couple Nomos and Others. I have never had an Omega so I quickly educated myself and decided that this was too cool of a story and deal to pass up. I guess every collection needs a Speedy, right?? At least that is what I told my wife. So here she is. The new(er) re-release of the pre-moon speedy with an 1861 manual wind. I love the 39.5mm case size and the no crown guards. Got my AD to thro
Omega Seamaster 300
Hi guys,I picked this one up from ebay earlier this week. Overhauled by Bienne back in 2005. Made in -66, sold new in West Germany in January -67. Compliments my AP nicely.
Tried on the gold Sub and had the "buy this and we can get you the Daytona C" chat
First off, skin tone definitely plays a part when it comes to gold vs. rose. I love the look of the rose gold DD 40 with olive and brown dials, but for the life of my skin, it just doesn't work - it all gets washed out. Forgot to snap a pic of the DD 40, but got this picture of the beautiful 116618, which I'm hoping to make my next piece. Absolutely stunning. As for the Daytona C, when I mentioned that I was on the hunt for one, they immediately said that it wouldn't be a problem, should I buy this one from them. If they could get me the trusted seller price for the 116618, I would do it just to get my hands on the Daytona C, but at retail for the gold sub, it's just a bit too much.
Didn't even know this BLNR existed!
Only 20 made. In white gold. It's a beauty!
