Just a week into wearing my white diver I've noticed something unusual which has not happened with my Daytona. Although mechanical movements are known to be far from accurate, they should be gaining or losing at the same rate each day, right?With my daytona it's consistently at +5 seconds per day, which is fine cause I know it's due for a service but I'm refusing to send it in as if now. But this is what I have noticed with my diver. Day 1: +3.5 secDay 2: +9 secDay 3: + 16 secHm... are these figures alright? Or is it time for a service. It's still under warranty. Thanks!
An Interesting AP Goodie
I received this at the opening reception of the AP Royal Oak 40th Anniversary Singapore Exhibition. This is a surprise gift, to me at least, and all I can say is that it is the most interesting and almost deceiving memorabilia that I totally enjoy.Make a guess on what it is? Incoming Omega 2254
Here is my story ... sad but true ... hahaMy first luxury watch was Omega SMP Blue Bond ... when i got my first Rolex Sub Date ... my best friend confiscated my Omega. He is wearing it now and will only return it when he gets his first Rolex which probably wont be for a while.One of my favorite things about having an Omega was the bragging rights of saying Omeeeeeeeeega as in Casino Royale movie. So i had to get another one. Omega 2254 was my choice, should have one incoming tomorrow.Here is a pic of my old Omeeeeeeega with the Rolex Sub Date.
What is the price for a 5167 in Euro?
US MSRP is $18,900 on the rubber strap, $21,900 on bracelet (I prefer the rubber). My AD has one lined up for me, but wanted to double check what the price would be in Europe.Thanks!
