Miki Eleta Clocks And Mechanical Art At The MB&F M.A.D.Gallery
La LunaThe M.A.D Gallery in Geneva while existing as the place to go to see the latest pieces from MB&F, is also a place where you can find unique "mechanical art" exhibitions. There is perhaps none more unique than the exhibition by clock-maker, Miki Eleta that was held to coincide with the week of SIHH.Arriving at the M.A.D Gallery, I was confronted by a gallery space that had been transformed yet again, and this time into some kind of magical clock wonderland. Large clocks and clock-like sculptures were to be found at every corner, and the first impression of the pieces was of an overwhelming complexity arranged in a kind of organic beauty.Die SiebenThe first piece that caught my eye was the large, almost eye height kinetic sculpture that stood near the entrance. Named "Die Sieben," it looks like a gigantic bee hive made out of sprawling wires. When the sculpture is put in motion, a mechanism brings ball bearings up from the middle and lets them go from the top, running into gui

Can someone tell me the difference between 25940OK.OO.D002CA.01 and 25940OK.OO.D002CA.02. Is there a price difference on the pre-owned market?
Was thinking Diver...now I'm thinking 15400...
I was initially planning to get the AP Diver to replace my Rolex Sub-C. I Went and put it on (and of course fell in love), but having it on I realized that it just didn't work in all situations like my Sub. I put on the 15400 and was equally mezmorized. So that got me thinking. Would the 15400 be more of a direct replacement for the Sub? I don't want to turn this into Rolex vs. AP, but can the 15400 do everything the Sub does (besides diving)? It is technically a 'Sports watch'. Would you swim with it? I think it goes from dress to casual just as well as the Sub. What say you?I just can't justify having both. Rolex ownership just isn't doing it for me anymore. I want an AP! I just need it to do everything my Sub does. Anyone else been in the same boat?
Is everyone a breitling hater till they own one?
my first watch was an omega and quite frankly I thought breitling was an inferior brand. i found them to be expensive and the ADs abrasive. i was given an Breitling colt by my parents upon my sisters wedding. truth be told i thought it was a beautiful tough watch but too small. so i wore it with some disdain. i was almost purposefully rough with it. taking it on every college adventure. i found it held up very well and drew positive attention even though i didn't like it as much as a sub or smp. i grew to love the brand perhaps because i didnt have enough for rolexes until my late 20s. i bought a chronomat, a blackbird big date, and an avenger gmt ii. although i like rolex more i found i was allergic to 904l steel, which allowed certain five digit models and PM. I think rolex movements and wat hes may be a bit tougher but i have grown to appreciate the fine qualities of a breitling, their build and beauty has made me a fan of the brand. i have wondered am i the only reluctant breitl
My new solid link bracelet is squeaky.
So I have been wearing my SD43 a lot lately, and I notice that my bracelet is squeaky. This is kind of a new thing for me as none of my other Rolex bracelet has that problem, including my sd4k which also has a solid link oyster ss bracelet. Has anyone had this problem. Any solutions that doesn't make the watch greasy such as oil / w40 etc...
