Patek Philippe Chronograph Annual Calendar 5960/1A Watch In Steel
For top-tier brands like Patek Philippe,?exotic materials such as gold, in all its hues, and platinum are almost exclusively used when it comes to their more complicated models, while steel is primarily reserved for the sportier and/or simpler pieces, like the Nautilus and the Aquanaut. The irony this creates is that once steelCthis most ordinary materialCis coupled with a flagship reference, it immediately gains a status of desirability, due to it being systematically ignored in the past. In this environment exotic pales into usual, and ordinary becomes special. At Baselworld 2014, Patek Philippe has announced that it terminated the manufacturing of its very complexCand equally desirableCannual calendar automatic chronograph Reference 5960 in any and all precious metals, and from now on will offer it exclusively in stainless steel. Brand new vs preowned..... Help
Hi guys,I have an opportunity to buy, from a trusted seller, a 44mm AP ROO stainless/ceramic. He has a BNIB open warranty card vs 1 year old LNIB with 2 years left on warranty. Both are spotless with all box/papers etc. There's a 2k difference between the 2.Any advise would be appreciated. If I decide to go preowned what questions should I ask? Thanks

I have to say that when this piece was introduced back in the spring I didn't think too much of it, but I was able to see and touch one last week. The watch is absolutely incredible, and I've found I can't stop thinking about it!! IMHO this has to be the ultimate all around Patek and the dial is just awesome in person. The only thing I'm not especially crazy about is the bracelet, however it seems more comfortable than those on the 5711/5712/5980 etc. I've been fortunate enough to have owned some beautiful PPs, and currently have a 5970G as well as a 5164A which is a daily wearer for me. I recently sold my 5235G due to the fact the watch just didn't sing to me. I would much rather somebody else get the opportunity to own and enjoy it rather than hoarding it, as to me wearing the watch is the point of owning one in the first place. Which brings me to the p
Rose Gold Sunday.....
A quiet Sunday, so I thought I'd shoot some pics of my RG Day-date and Vintage RG Patek before they are sent off to the vault......
