Are you ready for a watch like this? Is anyone ever really ready for a watch like this? Among his many watches, Alain Silberstein offers some tourbillon models. Less popular today, a few years ago these iconoclastic tourbillon timepieces really offered something very different. Take this Black Storm model (ref. TS511) that combines his playful French design, an interesting tourbillon movement, and urban toned camouflage.The idea is really when you get to a watch like a tourbillon reason loses a lot of meaning. New Yorks Times And AP
Today's New York Times edition had a Watch Your Time insert. It's mainly a promotional vehicle with some watch talk. Page 38 shows a 44mm Ceramic Chrono but describes the 42mm black chrono from the new series of ceramic pushers and crowns. Early incoming
So this is nothing close to the awesome incomings I've seen on here, especially the epic grand complication recently, however it means quite a bit to me as it is my first Patek. I've been hoping to acquire a Patek for a long time and it is perfect timing that I would finally receive one on my birthday of all days. I placed an order with my longtime AD back in June and was told to expect the watch around Christmas. To my great surprise I got a text at the end of last week with a picture of the sealed watch saying it's ready for pick up. Received the watch yesterday and man, it does not disappoint. I've had watches from many other manufacturers and it was quite a special moment to put on my first Patek. Thanks to the forum for providing great insight and photos on this crazy passion of ours.
