PP 5070G With Salmon dial ..
Hey guys ..Have you ever seen a salmon dial on the legend 5070?. Ok, here you go >>> 5070G-014 .. London Saatchi Gallery Exhibition. Limited to 5pcs.Enjoy!.
Undecided.... Grail Hunt
Hi guys. Ok, as alway I need your advice in what would be a better decision. I like movements and PP drive me nuts in a good way in that area. Currently my focus has been set solely on the 5712 in either ss or Rose Gold. Lately , I came across the Patek 5205 (either grey of black) which has a similar dial to the PP 5626. So, what do you guys think? What is the model to go for? Is the 5712 out shined by the 5205? Or, is the 5726 the way to go between those 4? Movement wise, are the 5205 and the 5726 the same? I know the 5712 movement is a beauty with the micro rotor but the 5626 is also great. All that said, thoughts? Knowledge? Words of wisdom? Here are some pics of the models from the Internet. This dial is very hard to capture
It's not easy to get the brown grainy effect to shows up.
My fellow obsessives
Is the shade/color of the blue dial the same on the DJ 41 as the Day/Date white gold model? I believe the latter dial is a slightly brighter blue. Thoughts? Also, what are your opinions of the way the Roman numerals are laid out on the white gold Day/Date models? For example, instead of IV for the number 4, it reads llll. Why do you think they chose that layout? Aesthetics?
Could the 16613 Bluesy become a classic?
The 16613 blue got a lot of attention and was somehow difficult to find back in 2004-2005 at least in some locations. Would this watch become a classic? I know there are lots of them around which could make it hard to become a classic piece. From what I see they haven't lost any value for the most part and still appears to be quite desirable.
