How big are your wrists for the 42mm ROO? And which is most popular?
I have sub-7 inch wrists (more like 6 3/4) and it's been a long time since I've tested the ROOs... I recall not being able to pull off the Diver probably because it was 44mm.So how are you smaller wrists able to pull it off? Do you go for the bracelet which appear to be more forgiving or do you special order the short strap? And which is most popular (or more popular) - the BB, Volcano, Panda, or Safari? I'm not very fond of the Rubberclad and I can't pull off the 44mm ROOs...There's also a grey on grey dial ROO 42mm... Not sure what it is called. Thanks for the help... And any pics are welcome to enable!!
New Breitling
So far, this is my favorite watch yet. It is the Avenger II Seawolf. The size is perfect on my 8.5 wrist. I flipping love it.20170309_184245 by Jon, on Flickr

New Speedmaster Professional for $2300?
Hey all, I'm looking to buy myself a speedmaster as a Christmas present (buying myself Christmas presents makes me sound like a tool, but I'm not C you understand). I was originally looking at used models, but I would get a new one if the price difference was reasonable. I'm in the military and through some wheeling / dealing, and strategic use of online coupon codes and opening store credit cards, I can get a new Speedmaster Professional for about $2300. To me that sounds like a great deal! However, I've never bought a watch new and am by no means a pricing expert. Is this as good of a deal as it sounds like or really nothing out of the ordinary? Thanks and happy holidays!-Scott
What do you think of Aquanaut models?
My interest being new to Patek Philippe as some already know, and my tastes being mostly in sporty/dressy watches, I look at Nautilus and Aquanaut models, but have to say don't think I would buy an Aquanaut, sure it's a nice watch but seems very basic in design, when the Nautilus has a very original, a little bit 70's style but cool enough to be actual.I think if I do get one day a PP I will prefer to flip a few watches that I don't wear anymore, add a few thousand and get a Nautilus, they have much more appeal to me, I understand if someone prefers the Aquanauts but in my case the preference goes clearly to the Gerald Genta designed cases. What do Patek fans think about these watches?
