Hublot Debuts Red Ceramic In Classic Fusion Skeleton Tourbillon For Only Watch 2013
Hublot extends ceramic even further by releasing the first high-end watch with red ceramic. Red is now added to white, black, blue, brown, and gray which are used in more and more watches each year as ceramic's popularity increases. Hublot isn't new to taking the lead when it comes to novel materials. In the past we have seen them create special combinations of materials: for King Gold a mixture of copper and platinum is used to stabilize and colorize the precious metal while to create the?highly scratch resistant?Magic Gold an alloy of pure gold and ceramics had been invented. They also released the first red-tinted sapphire crystal in a timepiece. For Only Watch?Auction,?Hublot?wanted to add a unique flair to a material that has been becoming ubiquitous in the entire industry in line with the red theme color of the charity auction.Used for the bezel, this new bright red ceramic is straight from the foundries and R&D dungeons of the manufacture. Wednesday Video Rewind: A Week On The Wrist With The Omega Speedmaster Dark Side Of The Moon
The Omega Speedmaster has remained a mainstay for watch enthusiasts for over half a century. It’s not a stretch at all to call this watch an icon, a term we don't throw around loosely here. While purists may scoff at the concept of an all-black Speedmaster, it is precisely this kind of update that brings a historical icon into the realm of contemporary thinking. When presented with the opportunity to wear the new Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon for a week, I couldn’t refuse. It's a watch I had been eyeing for some time, and while it isn’t exactly perfect, it certainly got me thinking and was tough to take off my wrist when the week was up.To read our full original post, click here. 1 OF 3 2 OF 33 OF 3
Tiffany 5712?
Need some advice interested in the 5712 as my next watch, and am considering the Tiffany stamp to further insulate value. Is this a good/plausible idea? Just called Tiffany NYC, but I don't have a relationship with them, was quoted 5-7 year waitlist, and that they were unwilling to add my name. I don't mind paying retail if it holds the value well, and would like to get your thoughts if this makes sense or if I should just do the regular 5712 since that is hard enough to get (not to mention with the 2018 price increase). Also, is Tiffany 5th ave the only location I can do this? Are there any other global locations?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
PP5205R VS Grand Lange 1
hello everyone, any suggestion for choosing one of these two nice pieces?
Bon voyage....outgoing.
We see lots of individual Rolex incoming threads here on TRF, has anyone started a Rolex owners group outgoing thread? Share your thoughts on the watch, why you are saying farewell and generally any insights you might think that could help others in their watch selling or purchasing decisions. All in one ongoing thread for quick simple reference. If not let's start one here.
